MUTCD Mounting Hole Punch

The Punch Tools Mounting Hole Punch is designed to create precise mounting holes in MUTCD-compliant traffic signs. It supports edge-offset holes along the centerline for signs up to 72” wide and can also punch holes off the corners for diamond-shaped signs.

Due to high demand from sign shops, we offer a grid-style punching system that efficiently handles rectangles, squares, and custom diamond-shaped signs. Unlike manual punching methods, our system allows a single operator to produce consistent, accurately placed mounting holes quickly, safely, and effortlessly—speeding up traffic and parking sign preparation while ensuring secure mounting and installation.
